21+ Golf Program

Autism-Pittsburgh and PGA Professional, Ron Lucas, presents a golf program for individuals on the autism spectrum over the age of 21 designed to help fill a need for over 21 programming.

 

Starting April/May every year (depending on weather) at one of the following locations: the RMU Sports Dome or Woodlands Foundation. Attendees will be taught by PGA Professional, Ron Lucas. This program runs for five consecutive Tuesday evenings and is be offered to individuals with autism for the total low rate of $150 per person. Each session should be approximately 1.5 hour with breaks; with the ratio of (6) students to (1) PGA Instructors to allow for safety.

Ron Lucas is a certified PGA Class A professional with over 12 years of experience teaching golf to individuals with special needs. This program will teach the fundamentals of golf, including positioning, skills, and game etiquette, creating an educational and recreational opportunity for attendees to engage in.
